The US Cremation Society will process the death certificate of your loved one. Upon certification, you will be notified that the death certificate is now available and you can go to any Iowa/Minnesota Court House to obtain certified copies.

If you wish, we will obtain certified death certificates for your family. However, there is a $10.00 per copy surcharge for doing so. Each certified copy of the death certificate obtained through the US Cremation Society will cost $25.00 each.

Please understand that the process of certifying a death certificate can take up to two weeks. When there are other underlying factors relating to the death, it can easily take 4-6 weeks.
