Obituary
Bryan Lee Beane passed away peacefully at his home in Fairbanks, Iowa, on May 1, 2026.
Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Lee Beane; his paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Thelma Beane; his maternal grandparents, Roy and Deva Countryman; and his mother- and father-in-law, Earl and Leona Streif, along with several brothers- and sisters-in-law.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy. Bryan was united in marriage to Kathy Streif Baldwin on November 26, 1988. Together they shared a life filled with love and raised four children: Ryan (Vanessa) Baldwin of Buffalo, Missouri; Bradley (Abby) Beane of North Liberty, Iowa; Sarah (Blake Houchin) Baldwin of Sandpoint, Idaho; and Michelle Beane of Walla Walla, Washington. He was also a proud grandfather to three grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother Mary Del Beane and brother Matt Beane of Des Moines, Iowa; sisters Loir (Don Oaks) Parsons of West Des Moines, Iowa; and Marilee (Lloyd) Heintz, Sunrise Beach, Missouri.
Bryan enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. He also enjoyed a good round of golf and spending time with family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on May 20, 2026, at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Highway 56, West Union, Iowa. A luncheon and Celebration of Life be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Quarry Lodge, 3825 Harding Road, Clermont, Iowa.
