Obituary
Steven Frank Snider, 68, of Waterloo, died Sunday, January 18, at Mercy One. He was born June 1, 1957, in Waterloo, the son of Garth and Emily Norgaard Snider. He married Lisa Aneweer on September 12, 1981; they were later divorced.
Steve was employed at Bertch Cabinets in Waterloo for over 30 years, retiring in 2023.
Survivors include his three sons: Christopher (Robin) of Waterloo, Chad (Kara) of Prior Lake, MN and Cody of Missoula, MT; three granddaughters, Cheyenne, Kayla and Tiarah; one grandson, Brayden; two sisters, Joyce Carter of Rochester, MN and Sheery (Larry) Brunscheon of Alleman; one brother, Richard of Evansdale; one sister-in-law, Judy Snider of Waterloo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Joe and Gary Snider; two nephews, Andy Snider and Jeffery Carter; a brother-in-law, Lauren Carter; and a sister-in-law, Cathy Snider.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to follow.
